Wallingford, Conn. – LatimerNext, the Wallingford-based provider of business communication training to companies and individuals worldwide, has announced the completion of a collaborative program with the Spanish Community of Wallingford (SCOW). The partnership between LatimerNext and SCOW enabled the firm to provide a group of SCOW community leaders with a cutting-edge course focused on communication skills critical to excelling during job search processes, and to thriving in today’s economy. The techniques imparted by the LatimerNext course are expected to provide a significant boost to the SCOW leaders as they progress in their careers.

The group from SCOW participated in LatimerNext’s Sell Yourself Course, which combines an innovative self-paced online component combined with training sessions with experienced coaches conducted via videoconference. “Sell Yourself” is one of several courses offered by LatimerNext, and is optimized for candidates seeking their next jobs. Clients walk away significantly more prepared to manage a variety of real-world scenarios ranging from job interviews to corporate presentations, and with tangible tools like a resumé, videoconference best practices, and a carefully-developed personal narrative that will all help to engage potential employers.
